The SD17E zero-tail mini excavator has an operating weight of 1420 kg.
Its zero-tail design prevents scraping against walls and fences when slewing in confined workspaces.

It comes standard with retractable tracks: 960 mm retracted width and 1260 mm extended width.
The machine easily passes through gateways, greenhouses and indoor doorways, while extended tracks greatly improve operational stability.
It is the ideal equipment for yard renovation, landscaping projects, municipal pipeline excavation, farm work and small earthmoving jobs.

The boom can swing laterally: 45° to the left and 65° to the right. It allows excavation close to walls and fences without frequent machine relocation, significantly boosting work efficiency on tight job sites.
Travel speed is 1.6 km/h, maximum gradeability up to 30°, and ground pressure is only 35 kPa. It hardly sinks on lawns and soft ground to protect the original ground surface.

A dozer blade is included as standard for site leveling and trench backfilling; it also anchors the machine during excavation to enhance stability.

Powered by a Yanmar 3-cylinder water-cooled diesel engine, delivering a maximum power of 29 kW (39.5 HP), maximum speed of 2200 rpm and displacement of 1.55 L.
The water cooling system ensures stable long continuous operation without overheating.
Compatible with No.2-D diesel fuel.
